I am completely baffled when it comes to downloading. I have recently installed Mandrake. I downloaded Firefox. I can easily locate the downloaded file - Firefox-installer. What do I do now? Linux Mandrake 9.2 - Starting after first install

Ok well i installed it and now im at the localhost login screen. Can anybody tell me how i start KDE or well any help at all would be good. I have no documentation i just know i installed 8. 2 without a problem i liked it and so uninstalled that and windows and its at the login screen.

i have a problem in installing xine-ui. when i execute the. /configure, it will give me an error about the libpng: configure:error:***:libpng is needed(PNG linrary not found) - try to use with-png-prefix option *** i tried to search libpng and this is what i get /usr/share/doc/libpng-1.

I'm trying to compile the netodragon 56k driver (from netodragon. com) under 64-bit fedora core 3, and not having much luck. every time I try compiling, I get this error: Code:# make KERNEL_DIR=/lib/modules/2.

I've use Mac OSX Panther a little while and i just like it!!! I heard that Mac OSX is based on linux and then i just search my needs and found Mandrake's 3CD version of Linux. I installed it to my XP's partition as dual OS.

Hello to everyone. I'm having a problem with my HCF modem (using a Linuxant driver) under Fedora Core 3. Using the driver, it worked under RH9. I installed the new driver for FC3 and the driver reports everything normal.

Printer NIGHTMARE!

Yes guys, I'm still having trouble getting my printer to print. I am back to FC3 as my distro. I used the custom install option and installed everything. I have gone to to try to use that information to get the printer working, and that hasn't worked.
