Hi, I just installed Mandrake 10. 1 (PowerPack+) and everything seemed to go fine. I setup an internet connection and the control center says that my card is installed but when i try to connect It won't let them.

I've Made The Switch, What Now?

Hello all, I've finally done it. I've abandoned XP, at last. I've installed Fedora Core 3 and it's all up and running nicely. I'm just wondering what to do now. Things like, which dir should i install programs to and where should i store documents, things like that.

hi, i have a mother board labeled bxcel pc100 on it, it has a slot type processor pentium 3 450Mhz. can i upgrade the processor to something like pentium 3 700 + Mhz? or something greater than the 450 Mhz? it also has an agp slot on it.

How Can I Fix My Call Of Duty (HELP)

I have COD, I have 1. 5b path and PB. I have a cuple of problems 1) When i start my COD and i check my cd key it is not there. I have to enter it everytime i start COD, And if i don't put it i can only play on servers that don't run PB.

Hi! I have a Dell Inspiron 7500 laptop P3, 512 MB Memory. Primary Hard Drive Triple Boot:win 98, Win XP, Suse 8. 2 Pro I also have a second hard drive module (40 GB formatted in FAT 32 and filled with data) that slides in one of the battery slots.

I'm using Mandrake 10. 1. How can I change the default settings in Alsamixer? If I want to activate my sound chip, I have to run Alsamixer and manually turn on every setting. Clicking on Save as default setting has no effect.

Not so long ago I finally got myself Linux, and bounced around distrobutions and am now using Mandrake. Unfortunately I'm forced into using dialup, yet, my modem that I got seems to be is connecting at a pathetic speed.

Using the router as print-server?

I have a router Netgear FWG114p where I have connected a HP laserjet 1010 printer on the usb-port. When connecting the printer directly to the computer it works fine with hpijs and foomatic, and when connecting it to the router it works all-right when using win-XP.
