WEP 40 vs WEP64 vs WEP104 & WEP128

choisumpapa
Can anyone tell me what's the difference between them. The driver that I compiled said it support WEP 40 or WEP 104 but when I check the router, it said it support TKIP-WEP128-WEP64 encryption. I can connect the wireless client with the router when no encryption was set.

Accessing IE-only sites in GNU/Linux

iamroot
I've just started school in a polytechnic and the school has this e-learning web portal which is pretty important cos all lecture notes and email is posted to this site. However, this site is IE-only and I'm not GNU/Linux so obtaining IE is impossible.

strangedub
Hello - I'm involved in a project in which we are customizing YaST for our special Linux environment. Part of the customization, naturally, is changing text that is displayed by various YaST modules.

Defrag

BARTICLE
Question: In all my user manuals & help files, I can't find any reference in how to run defrag in Linux. Is this because Linux files don't get fragmented like Windows files - or what? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Mandrake Success Story

zenarcher
Well, for once, I don't need help with a Linux problem (except my SATA RAID setup)! I just received my new Mandriva 2005LE (6 CD Set) yesterday, so removed Mandrake 10. 1 PowerPack and started with a fresh install.

You can test the linux desktop online

LinuxCrusader
You can now test the Linux operating system and desktop environment. It's as easy as ABC. Simply click on Start Linux. In a separate window, a complete Linux system will start on your PC, without requiring an installation.

TV tuner cards with GNU/Linux

iamroot
I intend to get a TV tuner card with recording capability since my VCR spoilt last week and a DVD recorder is beyond my budget. But I have no experience at all in this area. I was planning to get the LEADTEK TV2000XP since its cheap and pretty full-featured but have no idea if its compatible with GNU/Linux.
