Frustrated with no Network Connecting

I have tried 3 different NIC cards, trying to resolve ips with dhcp and entering in the proper static ip information from both my router and directly connecting to my cable modem. All three cards to not connect successfully.

HI. I searched the forum but didnt find any answer to my question, so here it goes: I need to get a DHCP-Server redundant. Everybody tells me to put each server in a subnet, but it isnt an option, as I need to keep as many IPs as possible, and with the splitting, I lose 50% of the IPs.

i have recently install fc3 onto my hp dx6100 pc. I can mount my usbpen thru automount but after I unmount it, I cannot remount it unless I reboot the pc. Any suggestions. .

Is it possible to burn pictures (photo's) to a disc that can be played back on a DVD player on a television? I am using FC4, I have K3b as one option as my burning tool. I tried this once, and burned the pictures as a DVD data project, and the DVD player said the disc didn't have playback feature.

I have a dual boot Fedora Core 4/Windows XP SP2 Dell Dimesion 4400 w/ a Pentium 4 (bought around 2002). My apt has one cable outlet on the other side, and its on the oppsite side of my room, so I set up a wireless network for my laptop.
