Ok. . . i installed ndiswrapper 1. 0rc2 (yes it is a beta). . . . and i was following the directions as posted here the other day from another forum. . . . Know that the instructions were for mandrake and I use SuSE 9.

I am currently running (but not for long, if this don't change!) SuSe 9. 3. I have a Kodak CX4310 digital camera. When I was using Fedora Core 3 or 4, or Centos, or Mandriva, these OS's auto detected my camera, and imported pictures effortlessly.

Firstly i apologise if i'm being a moron and have posted this in the wrong place. I have only had my home PC about amonth and have 2meg broadband with BT. All has been working ok but last night i had an error (680) with connecting claiming there was no dial tone to be found.

I have Actiontec modem serial. OS: Rh Fedora Core 4. 0 The os has recognised the modem. i have made the connection. wehn i connect. it gives me error PPP connection any idea. Do i use CHAP or other thing.

I need to access my hard drive but cant figure out how to open the back of my pc. its a packard bell bought in 1998. Yes, it still works fine or at least it did until the movers messed it up. How do I get the back off, anyone have any ideas????.

Installation problems

I am trying to install installed Suse on my computer that I have dual booting with Windows. Every time I select the Suse boot option it initializing hardware then starting sysem, then starting devices, and while it says starting devices the screen goes black and it freezes up.

Hai I just purchased a new umax webacm(astrapix pc102). How do i install it on my linux system-Fedora (core4). The Cd that shipped with the cam doesn't have drivers for linux and the site isn't helpful either.
