Im runnning fedora core 3, its olny my second day (switched from windows xp) so i have no idea how to use terminal. my wireless card is a linksys wireless g, model # WRT54GS. Ive tried ndiswrapper and have no clue how to install it no matter how many guides i look at.

I have 2 computers sharing an internet connection on a Belkin router. This is a wired network! When I first connected them to the router, I had to change my printer configurationon on the no. 1 box to a shared printer, in order for the printer to print.

I just tried to install Mandrake Linux 10. 1 and am having trouble. I installed it before on this same machine with no problem, but now even when I go back to the previous version it will not install properly.

hello, how can i configure my linux to share internet. my computer that has an internet has lancards on it. i do not hav a router or any device other than the lancard. im using fedora core 4. in windows it is easy to share internet connection, is it also easy on linux??? maybe someone can point me to some tutorials ...

I did a reinstallFedora 4and installed RealAudio10GOLD and JAVA (for Mozilla, to view videos in news websites). Neither will come up now after doing a yum -y update, which apparently included a kernel update.

RAID problem on ASUS P5RD1-V

Hello all! I'm trying to get Fedora Core 3 to install on a 2-drive SATA RAID on an Asus P5RD1-V motherboard. The RAID chip is ULi M5287, and I have configured the two SATA drives as RAID 1 (mirroring) in the RAID utility.

Help Installing Centos 4.0 on a Hp DL 320 Server having an Sata Raid Controller

Hi , I am having Centos 4. 0 , which i am trying to install on a HP DL 320 Server , The Problem is the Adaptec Sata Raid Controller is not getting detected with centos , i have even downloaded the driver image from hp's web site , but it is not getting detected at all.

Can anyone recommend a main board (socket 939, AMD64) w/ linux support. Preferably a cheaper board w/ onboard video, audio, and lan. I orginally bought 2 Asus A8V-MX's but there is no support for the VIA southbridge chipset.

I have recently installed a Belkin router on my 2 machines. This is NOT a wireless network! It is hard wired. Internet connection for both computers is great! My question is this, evidently a router will do much more than let 2 computers share an internet connection.
