help with Fedora

Hi all, I'm new to Fedora. I'm using it with windows XP. Now there is a problem with windows. Whenever i try to switch over to windows my machine keeps on restarting automatically. It works with Fedora without any problem.

Fedora Core 4 + Aurora 5500 box = suffering

Big fan of both Alienware and FC4. So I tried to put them together and am having some problems. I can install it fine (in text mode only). But then when it gets to start up it splashes the little loading task bar on the screen.

Fedora Core 4 and nVidia drivers simply not working together.

I have tryed multiple guides on how to get them to work but I have made no progress ( ) and the official nVidia instructions but still nothing. Does anyone have any tips and/or a rebuilt/RPM of the drivers or am I not going to be able to use my GFX card with drivers?.

Does any linux distro work with a Linksys WC11 ver 4 wifi card out the box?

I am a linuxx noob so I dont want to spend a week trying to get my wifi up on my laptop under linux. I have tried Ubuntu and pcoslinux, suse linux 9. 2 pro and xandros desktop pro 3. 0. No luck under suse 9.

added 1 linux box to windows network, network can't be seen now

Ok, long story short. I built a small linux box and run opensuse 10. 0 fully updated on it. I have added to my companies network to learn various aspects of networking with linux. I am guessing that the box took over as master browser, because once it's turned on, I can't open my workgroup.

Hey guys, Which package does wlanconfig belong too? I'm using Fedora Core 4 and trying to get my DWL-G510 wireless dlink up and running. I've already downloaded Madwifi and the appropriate kernel module for my kernel from Livna.

I dont know if it can be done but i need help connecting my usb cable modem to my linux i have a dual boot win xp and fedora core xp is what i am using to connect to internet with the usb but the drivers are only exe no binaries so i am stuck trying to figure it out any help would be appreciated

Hey everyone! I had windows xp installed on my secondary hard drive, and then I installed Mandrake 10. 1 on the primary hdd. After playing around with the Mandrake for a while (I am impressed by the way), I tried to get into xp from the boot loader Grub.
