Grub doesn't kick in after installing linux (Dual Boot)

Quick run down. Built a new system. Started by adding two 10,000rpm raptors in a RAID 0 config. Installed XP Pro. Everything went good. Bought a 3rd raptor and installed it in Primary SATA 0 on my ASUS A8N-SLI mobo.

Has anyone upgraded to Firefox 1. 5 yet and if so, have you had issues with Java and Flash? I upgraded to 1. 5 this morning and now my Flash and Java have quit working. I've reinstalled Flash and nothing.

how to install fedora core 4 alongwith mandrake 10 and winxp

Hi, I am new to linux. And I need some help. I want to install two flavors of linux on my single hard drive. I have one sata hard drive of 80 gb. I had winxp already running. Then I installed Mandrake 10 (with Grub)on a 8 gb partition.

Hi I've just added another SATA disk to my system and before used to use Partman to switch between XP/Fedora, but this time I wanted to use Grub, alas with no success so far. The boot order in bios is set to HDD0 and then SCSI.

Hi- I am very new to Linux. I just puchased Suse 10. 0 for my brother's laptop. After installing, I realized that my wireless card (DWL-650+)was not easily compatible with that version of Linux. What cards are directly compatible with SuSe 10.

Unable to load fixed fonts

Mach. was shut down bec. of a power outage and now when i try to reboot it won't boot into the gui but gives me a Unable ot load fixed fonts msg. Have been searching the net now for some 5 hrs. & still unable to find a solution.

Sorry to be a bore. . I realise that there a rather a lot of threads on this general topic, but my problem seems to be the opposite of everyone elses: I'm having problems with a dual boot with Fedora Core 4 and Windows XP.

I don't know how to install flashplayer on Mandrake Linux 10. 1 Nor do I know how to use the GNOME Terminal. Also I can't install programs from online. I download them but unlike windows i doesnt automatically open the installation software.

Hi Im new to this forum and new to linux (dont cringe yet k?). Well anyway I have tried a few times to install fedora core 4 to a system with win XP previously put on the same hard drive but both end up with the same problem.
