About to install Fedora Core 5 with XP, whats ideal setup

Hi, If i am wishing to installed Fedora Core 5 on a PC , to dual boot with XP. What would you say is the idea setup to have the PC at before installing. I know I should XP installed first. But what should the drives look like? How should they be formatted? any other tips?.

Removing Fedora Core 5 and installing Windows XP

I want to remove Fedora Core 5 and place on Windows XP onto my machine, although I only have the XP cd and not the Fedora Core 5 cds. If I have to get a Fedora Core cd to perform an fdisk command, which cd would that be? I'm kinda new to this so more detailed the explanation the better.

Is there a firmware available for Buffalo b/g wlan nic WLI-CB-G54S-EU for Fedora Core 5 (kernel 2. 6. 15)? I have IBM x23 laptop with some Intel's 860MHz cpu. The nic is not listed to the list of supported nics in the setup.

linux swap partition question

Hello, I recently installed FC 5 and chose not to create a swap partition for linux. I was given a message that said having a swap partition would increase the performance of linux. Is it really that much of a difference? and if so, should I reinstall fedora and create a swap partition? Thanks in advance, GoNoles.

ok Fedora core software doesnt detect my card at all. that i can tell at least. i am still pretty new to linux so dont laugh to hard if this is easy. i went to the D-link web site and they directed me to ACX100.

hello, I am running fedora core 5 and installed the nvidia video driver from rpm. livna. org Now I want to remove it and go back to the driver that came with the fedora cd installation. How do i uninstall it? I am new to linux so please explain the process in detail.
