I currently consider to moving the forum to it's own website and merging both NT and Linux Compatible forums to a single one. What do you think? Good or bad idea?.

I posted a few minutes ago with a question about reformatting my HD, but this post is to ask about the original problem that started it all, and how I can avoid making the same mistakes again. I followed posted instructions on several websites regarding mounting an NTFS partition under Fedora 5.
Unable to reformat SATA HD
SideshowMel
I had previously posted some questions related to GRUB and a dual-hard-drive, dual-boot issue and had very helpful responses. Although my new problem may be Windows-related, I thought somebody here may have a suggestion, as it is hard to tell what is happening.

Dapper problems: F5D6020v2
DJ Wings
I recently upgraded from Ubuntu 5. 10 to 6. 06 via sudo dist-upgrade. This has apparently cost me support for my Belkin F5D6020 WNIC, which I have used for a year. What I've done: 1. Ran the drver with Wine, unshielded the cabinet files, and looked for driver files.
Belkin Network Card
SkippyTheNurse
hello y'all. Of course, as with any person migrating from Widows, I am a noob. I tell you one thing, it was much much easier setting up my system with linux than it was with windows and I like all the options that it has that would usually require third-party applications with windows.

FC5 / WinXP DualBoot 2HDs Grub won't load
SideshowMel
I am very new to Linux, so I installed a clean FC5 onto a separate HD than my Windows XP drive. In FC5, the package manager says grub is installed, but I still have to switch the HDs in the BIOS to determine which OS to use, there is no Grub prompt of any kind.
