How Do I Uninstall Red Hat Enterprise

I have a Dell Inspiron 5100 laptop with Red Hat Enterprise V3 on it. That is the only OP Sys. I want to uninstall Red Hat and install Windows XP Pro. I do not have the Red Hat installation disk. How do I uninstall Red Hat and install Windows.

Hi — I've just installed Ubuntu 5. 10 on a Compaq Armada M700 laptop. The installation went smoothly, except that I can't connect to the internet—the connection times out before any connection is made.

At work i have got my laptop with FC7. I tried to install our work's printer (on 192. 168. 2. 50) , here what I did : Through GUI, System>Administration>Printing> New Printer ,,,,but i do not what to choost to assign TCP/IP port to the FC7 PC.

Hey, I'm rather new to Linux, and I was wondering if someone could give me a step-by-step walkthrough on connecting to a LAN network. . its the only way i currently have access to internet, and i use a certain network on my WinXP O/S, and i want to use the same network with Linux.

Hi there, i'm just a noob, so try to explain in human I have tried to install Ubuntu 7. 04, Mandriva 2005, Mandriva 2007 Spring and i can't even boot it (Mandriva 2007 got it installed, but the OS doesn't boot it just hangs) And with some Knoppix LiveCD.

On my WinXP machine, I have a backup imaging program called EAZ-FIX which has saved me from annoying reinstalls many times. Does anyone know of a similar program for Linux? Thanks. .

Has anybody else noticed a recent influx of websites that redirect you to an ADBLOCKER page ?!? Seems to me that it's becoming more and more of a real problem but I guess that is their right to do so, it's their website.

I am somewhat new to Linux and really new to SUSE. I bought a Netgear wireless card WG311v3 and installed it in my father inlaws computer to allow him to access the internet from his office. Unfortunately, I have yet to get it working.

Dual booting Fedora Core 5 with Windows XP Pro?

Hi all, I'm having a SATA hard drive on which Windows XP resides(made as Primary slave in bios) and a IDE hard drive(made as Secondary Master) where i installed Fedora Core 5 recently and after installed successfully and rebooted it did not ask for dual boot and went directly to Windows XP.

I have played with a lot of security tools on Linux and I am just wondering, is there any other distro out there as powerfull as Backtrack? The only other ones I like are PHLAX and Pentoo, but neither feel as smooth, or have the same tools.
