Yep. I've had the same result as many here for this motherboard. Both onboard and PCI network cards recognised but wouldn't function under Linux 2.6 (seems to be an interrupt problem; all PCI devices being allocated Int 0).
However, Knoppix (a CDROM distro based on Debian) had no problems doing its auto-detect magic, finding the network cards and uses them... on the same BIOS config. So it would seem the problem is back to being a kernel config issue.

These motherboard work very well with Mandrake 9.1. P4/2.8-HT

Tried installing Mandrake 9.2, the installation was flawless but the onboard ethernet controller was recognized but would not function. It could not find an interface for the PCI bus. I even tried updating the kernel to 2.6.3 but no luck.

I have several of these boards running with Intel P4/2.6-HT and have NEVER had a problem after several months. Distributions have been RH9 (servers) and Fedora Core 1 (workstations).
These motherboards work very well with Linux. All onboard devices - USB, controllers, sound etc all detected with no problems.

The installion goes fine (I've tried several RH9, FC1, etc), but both onboard and PCI NICs aren't working, as is my floppy. If this is working for someone else, I suspect a BIOS level or option configuration issue. Several other error messages appear on boot.
