Just about everything works fine on Linux, and this is definitely a working solution. However, in increasing order of importance:
1. Sensors are a sore point and difficult to read on Linux.
2. Fans cannot be adjusted under Linux. Need to boot into the BIOS.
3. The Wifi/Bluetooth, while supported has problems: bluetooth audio skips when using the wifi; the wifi disconnects multiple times a day
