installed in slackware64 13.37 just fine.
Most of my Autocad lisp programs ran unmodified, a few needed changes where the Bricscad lisp command had extra arguments.
Breath of fresh air, definitely worth the money.

worked not the first time, had to install latest wine, then I found that the ~.wine directory was owned by root. changed this with chown username:username and did this for all the subdirectorys. then i copied the wine patch to /usr/lib/wine and IT WORKS GREAT

I installed the Bricscad 5 for linux under Suse 10.2 (32 bit cpu) and it works just fine. They do not say that it will install under Suse, but it does install correctly.
No matter what distribution, though, DO read the read.me. I found I had to upgrade the version of wine I was using to get it to install correctly.

Bricscad is intellicad in steroids.
it have features not present in other "intellicad's" (for win)
requirements in hardware for linux are more hungry than in version for windows
good: reads very well DWG 2005
keyboard layout is exactly the same as autocad. i feel at home.

It works. 1 quirk -> don't save as default filename. Can draw anything you need. If you know AutoCAD ... Intellicad is 2nd nature. I am happy.
