Working perfectly with Debian and kernel 2.4.22-xfs using the Atmel AT76c503a driver. Seems to be safer if you compile Atmel from source. Does not work with 2.6 kernels. Atmel Drivers included with 2.6 Distro's just don't work, spent days trying to get it to work.

Update to my previous submission: Found that the DWL-120a by D-Link works with Linux Distro Kanotix with kernel 2.6.9. Posting this result after getting the nic to work. This is the only distro I've sucessfully gotten this USB nic to work with little to no work at all, the device is automatically detected with the correct ATmel drivers. All that's needed is you to configure iwconfig and ifconfig, ping your router to test, and you're set. Wish I found this distro earlier, would have saved me a hours of work, hope this helps thousands out there who own this nic and have given up, download the live kanotix CD.
