v4003de tried on Ubutnu 7.10, 8.04 and Arch linux (as of 2008-08-01).
Both distros load the zd1211rw module.
The "iwconfig essid" and "iwconfig mode" commands work.
"iwlist <interface> scan" returns "wlan1 Interface doesn't support scanning : Network is down". I understand this is because "ifconfig <interface> up" needs to be run first.
"ifconfig <interface> up" outputs "SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such file or directory"

Works out of the box with Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 and Gutsy Gibbon 7.10.

Works perfectly right out of the box. I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron. No problems whatsoever.
