This ethernet NIC can be found on various motherboards by Abit for example. IC Plus has provided open-source drivers since a long time, but they have still not found their way into the kernel.
Download the drivers here: http://www.icplus.com.tw/Data/driver/IP1000A%20Linux%20driver%20v2.09f.zip
Unpack it somewhere. Then open a terminal and become root.
# make all
# cp ./ipg.ko /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/kernel/drivers/net/
# depmod -A
# modprobe ipg
I have heard reports that the driver doesn't compile on some kernels and system configurations, besides a lot of other little issues.
