An earlier note (from Mar '04) said you can use the z43 driver for the z45 printer to work under linux. That may be the case with Mandrake, but it is not so for Xandros.

I just installed used it under my new mandrake 10... You have to use the Z43 driver. The test page won't print with Drakconf, but it will with KControl
