The RCA LYRA RD1071 comes with internal ram and a slot for adding more memory. The slotted memory is of the SD/MMC style ram cards.
This unit works 100% under linux.
You mount it via usb as an scsi device. If you use the memory slot, be sure "check all luns" is enabled in the kernel, so you can mount both the internal 128meg memory as well as up to 512meg SD/MMC memory card.
