It's working out of box in Ubuntu 5.04 using madfifi. Except for the wpa, you should install wpa_supplicant separately.

WG311v2 working under Fedora Core 3. Watch out, WG311v1 is Atheros chipset (can use MADwifi drivers), WG311v2 uses TI ACX111 chipset (must use drivers from acx100.sourceforge.net)

I have the WG311v2; I could not get this card working with the acx100 drivers from Sourceforge. However, using ndiswrapper, I have been able to get this card working at 54Mbps in managed mode, with WEP enabled.

54 MBit/s Wireless PCI Adapter. The Netgear WG311 WLAN adapter is currently not working unter Debian GNU/Linux "Sarge" (MADwifi drivers). In a clean setup, Debian-Installer doesen't recognize the card at all.
