Works just like any USB mass storage device. Mount it and instant access to your pictures and movies.
As long as you have the USB mass-storage modules loaded (or compiled in your kernel) you should have zero problems.
In my case, all I had to do was add the following to my fstab (at least best I can recall - I'm not at my computer. I'll correct it later, if need be):
/dev/sdb1 /mnt/camera vfat ro,users,noauto 0 0
