If you use this link http://rtl8180-sa2400.sourceforge.net/, it will work great. If you don't, it won't :).
My computer configuration:
Custom built P4 (2.4A), 512MB RAM, Nvidia FX 5700LE, CD-ROM/DVD combo, Trendnet TEW-228PI (took a lot to get it to work with Linux).
