This parallel/USB/network printer supports Postscript level 3. I had no problem making it work as a network printer. HOWEVER, CAUTION !!! DO NOT install the proprietary drivers from the CD, because this messes up your system and gives you a PSD file with an error in it.
Explanation: installing the driver from the CD will make some system folders NOT belong to root any more (meaning that a normal user can read and MODIFY any system-wide settings, including your firewall rules), which is unnecessary to make them work. This is stupid and dangerous. The error in the PSD file makes it impossible to print correctly on a A4 page from some applications, like Open Office, but this error can be corrected by modifying a single line of text.
This printer prints perfectly and is 100% compatible with Linux, but I recommend business customers do NOT buy it, as this security hole and error in the proprietary driver proves that SAMSUNG doesn't give a damn about providing acceptable linux compatibility. They just want to have it written on the paper and asked a 3 years old kid to care of it.
