For months overclockers have been happily reaching 1GHz with their Durons. It has become perhaps the most overclocker friendly CPU on the market. Finally AMD has officially released the GHz Duron. It is just a simple speed bump? No, the GHz released today is the Morgan core Duron. It is the little brother of the Palomino we have already seen in the Athlon MP and Athlon 4. Let´s take a look at this chart to show some differences between the Morgan Duron and the previous Spitfire Durons.

Hopefully we'll see BIOS's to support the Morgan/Palimino's on the KT133's, otherwise the highest I can go to is a 1.2GHz T-Bird ;( Dang!
