I googled the Belkin and could come up with nothing on it working with Linux. This page shows no available drivers. My experience has been that usb hardware of this nature is very difficult if not impossible to run with Linux. I'm not saying it can't be done, but I'd be extremely surprised if you got it working. Let's hope I'm wrong.

Some people have had success with the Berlios AT7C503A driver. You can find a table at http://at76c503a.berlios.de/devices.html where both variations of the F5D6050 are listed as working with that driver. I, however, have failed with that specific driver. I no longer posses the unit but rumour has it that there is a Mandrake RPM containing an update version of the driver. It may work with both F5D6050 and F5D6050 version 2.
