Debian sid DVD iso cd1

The size of the Debian sid cd1 iso in the news section says it is 4. 3 GB, but when you download it, it is only 384 mb. Why is that? CD2 works fine. .

If you're going to install Sid, I wouldn't bother with the install CDs. Instead, I'd go for the netinst CD and install it that way. The net installer has its quirks but provides a much easier way to get an up to date version of Sid installed more quickly
