DVD no media found FC3

This is a discussion about DVD no media found FC3 in the Everything Linux category; hi after a (first)fresh install there is no access to my CD/DVD burner. weird thing is : it is a secondary master drive, but shown up as sdb in the /dev. sda is the linux partition on SATA1 channel. anyway, no link in fstab, no link in /dev , and when I try to mount it sais no media found.
