Failure to install mandrake 10
This is a discussion about Failure to install mandrake 10 in the Everything Linux category; i downloaded the isos from the link that was provided here got all the discs and reboot my system everything seems to go well cept when i tell it to install missing theme file hit ignore missing font ignore again then kernel batch file missing do not continue i go back to the packages and just check the essentials ...
i downloaded the isos from the link that was provided here got all the discs and reboot my system everything seems to go well cept when i tell it to install missing theme file hit ignore missing font ignore again then kernel batch file missing do not continue i go back to the packages and just check the essentials but still it was missing alot of files what am i doing wrong or is it just the ce edition

Mine went fine, except for no sound or networking!
I hate to say it again...Mandrake 10, from what I have been reading, is sensitive to burn speed. Some are saying to burn it at 4X. If you are getting missed packages during the install, this is likely the problem. Either that, or a bad download of the iso's. It does happen.
Did you verify the integrity of the downloaded iso files before burning the disks?
