For those having issues mounting Samba shares
If you are having some issues with this, you should check out this utility then: It's a very nice front end for smbmnt/smbmount/smbumount and is fairly intuitive. Just make sure that you have all the needed packages first, as explained on the site.

I am hoping that this one will work right in KDE3, as I am having issues with Komba2 in Red Hat 8 (even with the Beta Komba2, I can't right click on the workgroup/shares in order to enter info).
