grub.conf edited by mistake
This is a discussion about grub.conf edited by mistake in the Everything Linux category; Hello friends I have 2 OS installed in my PC 1. Windows-xp 2. R. H. linux In grub. conf, I have commented linux part(unfortunately) and windows part is as it is. It means at OS selecting screen only windows portion is visible, even if you want to select linux OS you cant.

In grub.conf, I have commented linux part(unfortunately) and windows part is as it is. It means at OS selecting screen only windows portion is visible, even if you want to select linux OS you cant..Because of my mistake of commenting linux portion in grub.conf
Now what to do? How do I go back to linux??

First of all, let's be clear about what you have. Is it Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Fedora? What version?
Do you have the install CD? If so, you can rescue your installation.
How comfortable are you with editing grub? From the command line?
How did you edit Grub in the first place?
