PC A = 10. 0. 0. 1/24 eth0 172. 16. 0. 1 tun0 PC B = 10. 0. 1. 1/24 eth0 172. 16. 0. 2 tun0 now , after executing shutdown -h now on the PC A.

i have two pc's setup for a VPN connection. i.e 2 sites both using local adsl connections.
PC A = 10.0.0.1/24 eth0
172.16.0.1 tun0
PC B = 10.0.1.1/24 eth0
172.16.0.2 tun0
now , after executing "shutdown -h now" on the PC A.
the VPN is down
and i dont know how to set it back up ?
please help
has the -h command killed something ?
all the routes seem to be in place in the pc's but no ping no connectivity at all...
i am in a huge bind with this.
any help or guide would be immensily appreciated
