Is this possible? How?
Some details --
* laptop running XP home, BIOS does allow booting from USB device.
* linux is not installed on the internal harddrive
* when trying to install FC3 using boot CD the USB hard drive is not recognized. The internal harddrive is recognized
* I "could" try to install FC3 on the internal harddrive by creating a new partition ... but I'd prefer trying not to do this.
* finally, I do have a FC3 linux machine available where I could attempt to do the boot partition on the USB hard drive, if this helps.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
