Interactive Startup

ok, whenever im not connected to the internet on my linux box (mandrake 9. 2) it always wont start unless if i do it interactivly and dont allow the eht0 to load. . i know what to do. . its just its a pain.

You can turn network services off by default.
 
However, even with networking enabled, it should eventually load anyway, though it may take a while to do so if there is no ethernet connection available.

It takes a long time compared to the other things that are going on. Have you ever waited a couple of minutes to see if it continues? ;(
