Mandrake 9.2 wont find my Raid controller

Hi I have a IC7-G Motherboard with a Intel ICH5 Raid controller. Anyone know if Mandrake 9. 2 supports this controller? Because it doesn't find any disks under the disk detection during the install.

Don't think that it does. I looked around and the kernel apparently does not support it. SATA raid, correct?

Are you usng sata hard drives, or just one hard drive - non-sata?

If the latter, try disabling raid and sata in the bios and see what happens.

Supposedly Mandrake 10 or Fedora supports it.

I'm using 2 SATA disks in a raid-0 stripe.
Mandrake 10 is still beta right?

Maybe you know if Suse or Redhat supports it?

Yes it is, beta 2 right now, which I have installed on my system. Unfortunately, mine is not sata raid, so I can't be of much help here.
