ntl Cable Modem doesn't work with Mandrake

My ntl Cable Modem is made by Ambit. Mandrake Recognise it but internet does not come. Knoppix which boot from CD-ROM. Recognise it and i can run the internet from the Knoppix. My cable Modem Attached with USB.

My cable Modem Attached with USB. I can Attached it with Ethernet. But I donot know how can I do this. Is some body solve my problem or tell me how can i attached with ethernet.

Well, if you read www.linuxdoc.org
you would know that you type
dhcpcd -h user.name
where user.name is the first part of the first mail address you registered.
