One of the first things that most people do when they enter "the lab" where I test and review components is wonder how I manage to get anything done with all the noise. I really can´t blame them; when a single computer has over 10 fans running at full speed, and there is more than one computer in the same room, things tend to get a little loud! If you´re like me and don´t mind sacrificing your hearing in order to drop your CPU temperature by a few degrees, then it likely doesn´t bother you. However, I´d be willing to guess that when you want to listen to that brand new MP3 you just downloaded or play a quiet, thinking game, such as Chess, the last thing you want to hear is a jet engine-like "whirrr" from all your fans running. This is where the PCMod´s Rheobus Kit, that the good folks at CrazyPC.com generously provided, comes in.
