Hi Guys! Is it possible for me to measure the performance of several peripherals in a given board? Lets say if i want to measure the speed of my ethernet peripheral, do i have to create kernel modules for this? or should i only get a tool for measuring network performance? My goal is to see how the OS drives these ...

Is it possible for me to measure the performance of several peripherals in a given board? Lets say if i want to measure the speed of my ethernet peripheral, do i have to create kernel modules for this? or should i only get a tool for measuring network performance?
My goal is to see how the OS drives these peripherals and see if there is any overhead.
