RADEON 9800 PRO!!!!!!!!! MEGA HELP ME PLZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!

Hello, i'm portuguese, soo do not notice my english plz. . . I've installed Mandrake 10. them installed Kernel Source (kernel-source-2. 6. 3-7mdk. i586. rpm) using de command: urpmi kernel-source-2.

I've installed Mandrake 10.
 
them installed Kernel Source (kernel-source-2.6.3-7mdk.i586.rpm) using de command:
 
urpmi kernel-source-2.6.3-7mdk.i586.rpm
....installation success
 
Next i'd installed ATI fglrx-4.3.0-3-1-2-0-i386.rpm usig the command rpm -Uh --force fglrx-4.3.0-3-1-2-0-i386.rpm
 
.... Instalation success...
 
finally i went to /lib/modules/fglrx/build_mod/
and did:
 
-> chmod u+x make.sh
then...
->./make.sh
 
Success
last...
 
-> cd..
/lib/modules/fglrx/
-> chmod u+x make_install.sh
->./make_install
->fglrxconfig
 
 
 
With all and wen i run fglrxinfo:
#fglrxinfo
Loading required GL library /usr/lib/libGL.so.1
display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: Mesa project: www.mesa3d.org
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect
OpenGL version string: 1.3 Mesa 4.0.4
 
What's bad?? did i make something bad?? I am seak of trying to install this with no success... plzzz some one help me!!

It was in fact a Radeon 9600pro that braught me to linuxcompatible.org in the first place, and therefore I'm almost a bit grateful towards ATI that they produce gfx-cards that don't integrate into Linux all too easily as I wouldn't want to miss this incredibly helpful forum anymore
 
Anyway ... a couple of threads here deal with Radeon-installation, amongst those you will also find this one (*** SMUG-MODE: ON *** ...

Check it out, maybe it's what you've been looking for. In all cases I'd suggest to try an "lsmod"-command from the shell to see if your AGP- and GFX-drivers/modules are loaded properly.
