It's a great mod, but the dev team seems quite uninterested in keeping a decent Linux version. The menus thing sounds to me like a lot of \ instead of / in the ROMenu part of it
They said they would make an installer and all would be glorious for this version, but they didn't, and it's just crap.
Great mod though

Yeah I was really dissapointed! I thought they where going to fix the linux issues for the 1.1 update... But it did'nt happen.
Well, I wrote an installation guide over at the forums:

Although the menu's are kinda a half-breed of Red Orchestra and UT2003, the mod itself is 100% playable.

Thanks I saw your guide this morning. Great job... I got it running no problems now...
BTW what kind of frame rates are you getting? I find it varies alot depending on server.

I'm getting roughly what I should.. although I am getting momentary lagging at the start of rounds etc, but I suppose it is inevitable really, and is not Linux specific.
How about dedicated servers, where can i get the files to host RO? and im assuming it's got a linux port for the ds.

OP
AFAIK the ded server is bundled with the client.

Kind of disappointing. The GNU/Linux release is really below the Windows one.
