At 1.620 ghz the Thermalright sk-6 was able to pull it off and quite well. 47 degrees at load. For the first time I have been able to run at 1.620 ghz with my 1.4ghz AMD cpu...am I impressed? Hell yeah I´m amazed, still! What can be said of a cooler that for about $40 is the next best thing to water cooling? I´d say if you´re in the market for a new cpu cooler the Thermalright sk-6 is still the cooler to buy. In the upcoming weeks there will be a new competitor, Alpha´s pal 8045 however it´s price tag will be upwards of $75. While it may be able to beat it out by a degree or 2 I don´t think there´s a better price to performance ratio cooler available.
