hello friends, hope you are enjoying your linux. Well me too. i am satisfied with this distro but i am willing to add more charm to my usage. I have Mandrake 10. Official ( Downloaded Version ). running absolutely fine.

hello friends, hope you are enjoying your linux. Well me too. i am satisfied with this distro but i am willing to add more charm to my usage. I have Mandrake 10. Official ( Downloaded Version ). running absolutely fine. but i want the following:
 
1. How can i change the Splash Screen of gnome
 
2. How can i change Login Screen in Mandrake Linux 10 Official.
 
3. Is it possible to download additional applications for Mandrake Linux Official 10.0
 
If possible then from where i can download the additional softwares from the internet for mandrake linux 10.
 
I hope you all will be able to solve my queries very soon.

The first place I always used to look for additional software when I was using Mandrake was rpmfind.org.

You can change your splash screen by downloading new ones at
 
www.gnome-look.org
 
As for installation im not very sure. Follow the instructions in the site. I'm a KDE user. Don't use GNOME often.
