Upgrading mysql 4.0 to 4.1 Debian

Just a newbe question. Just wonder if I upgrade from Mysql 4. 0 to Mysql 4. 1 if my tables will be untuched. I´m using Debian 3. 1.

Yes, all existing databases will still work after the upgrade.

Can you please explain me how to upgrade from mysql 4.0 to 4.1 since the package names, aren't the same.
 
I'm also running Debian 3.1...

apt-get install mysql-server-4.1 will install MySQL 4.1 and upgrade the old databases to the new version
