USB Mouse stops working

I have just tried to load Fedora and all went smoothly until I had to use the mouse to click on a selection and found it did not move. I shut down the computer and then booted to WinXP and the mouse works fine.

I have just tried to load Fedora and all went smoothly until I had to use the mouse to click on a selection and found it did not move. I shut down the computer and then booted to WinXP and the mouse works fine. I was hoping to dual boot using Fedora 5 and XP but if I cannott get the USB mouse to work it looks as if I am stuck with Windows only. Is this a Microsoft conspiracy.(Joking) Can anyone assist please.....Dave

More information is needed in order to respond to your question.

When you say you tried to "load" Fedora, do you mean install it, or boot into Fedora?

Is this a laptop or desktop system? Make and model, please.

What model USB mouse do you have?
