IE starts up with a default search page.

Hi All, I have recently started facing problems with my IE. I get a default search page whenever I launch the IE. I could not alter the same using the Tools> Internet options. I can see that there is something called sp.

When I return to the site a day after and click on '34 forum topics' to list the new/updated ones since my last visit, I receive a whole page, of at least 100 or so. This feature did used to work. It only broke middle of last month.

Add Windows XP SP2 as seperate OS choice for compatability results

To the Powers That Be at ntcompatible, I offer the above suggestion since Windows XP SP 2 changes some significant things and will probably break many apps. Thus, it might be worth having its own entry as an operating system choice for submitting compatability results.

Hi, does anyone have any experience with swtting up linux (redhat 9) on a new A series sony vaio (GN-A17GP). . ? specifically the built-in wireless network card? Any help would be very appreciated! Ben.

Fedora Core 2 and AOL

I just purchased a LINUS magazine which came with Fedora Core 2. I also purchased and installed a new hard drive which I have already partitioned into three partitions. I allocated a 55GB partition for LINUX.

error on fedora core 2 installation

plzz help me, when i'm installing fedora core 2 i get a warning like this: unable to align partition properly. this probably means that another partitioning tool generated an incorrect partition table, because it didn't have the correct BIOS geometry.

Add a meta refresh after login/logout?

Can you add a meta refresh after logging in, and after logging out? It seems redundant to have to click on the link to return to the home page after both login/logout. Also, what is the session timeout? After how many minutes is a user automatically logged out? Thanks.

Hmm. . Don't know if it's a board problem, or our security settings at work. But I keep trying to update my email address and it says my profile has been updated and to check for email verification but nothing is being sent through to my new email addy.
