Help with DVR-108 recorder.

I'm having issues with my DVD recorder. It can be recognized in most programs but not all. Here is my setup. I recently tried (several times) to install Fedora Core 4 on my machine. I downloaded the fc4-i386-disc1-4. iso. I used K3b to burn them, I did select New data Project>tools>CD>Burn iso Image.

Hello I'd like to know the difficulty to install the LG4163B with Mandriva. There is no firmware by LG. What are the DVD recorders which have a good compatibility with Linux ? I don't find any clear informations on this subject.

Hi there, I have a Canon pixima ip5000 printer and it sort of works with the ip4000 drivers in Mandriva 2006 but not properly. Anyone know of a better driver that I can use? Thanks. .

I looking into setting up a Myth TV box. I want to use antec minuet case which requires low profile pci cards. Does anyone know if the Kworld Xpert TV PVR 883 works with any distros? If not does anyone have any suggestions for an inexpensive low profile tv tuner.

Im runnning fedora core 3, its olny my second day (switched from windows xp) so i have no idea how to use terminal. my wireless card is a linksys wireless g, model # WRT54GS. Ive tried ndiswrapper and have no clue how to install it no matter how many guides i look at.

RAID problem on ASUS P5RD1-V

Hello all! I'm trying to get Fedora Core 3 to install on a 2-drive SATA RAID on an Asus P5RD1-V motherboard. The RAID chip is ULi M5287, and I have configured the two SATA drives as RAID 1 (mirroring) in the RAID utility.

Can anyone recommend a main board (socket 939, AMD64) w/ linux support. Preferably a cheaper board w/ onboard video, audio, and lan. I orginally bought 2 Asus A8V-MX's but there is no support for the VIA southbridge chipset.

Mandriva 2006 Beta 0.3 Dual Head

Hi, Mandriva 2006 has picked up my dual head Radeon 9800 pro okay, and shows each Head in the configuration screen. However, I can only seem to run the monitors in Clone mode - so they are just showing the same on each monitor.

Hi! I'm having problems in configuring my Wireless PCMCIA card on Mandrake 10. 1. I have a linksys WPC54G and I'm using ndiswrapper to install the windows drive under linux. Everything went fine till the moment I had to configure wan address.

Question regarding the compatibility of Asus P5ad2-e. I was wondering if the s/pdif out setting on the sound card worked and where the driver can be found. Also the netcard needs kernel sources which are not shipped with Fedora.

A simple request (56k Modems and FC4)

I don't know whether to put this under Networking or not, but I generally don't know. So, since you can't really create a network between computer siwth a 56k, here it is. All I need to know is an existance of a 56k modem that can work risk free with Fedora without any tribulations or pain.
