Hi, I'm running FC2 and using a Belkin 54g wireless card/router connected to my cable modem (NTL). I use the Linuxant Driverloader software (latest version) to load Windows drivers for my wireless card.

Network Works, but IE doesn't Part 2...

HELP. . . I have a similar problem, but I didn't install anything new. . All of a sudden my internet stops working on my older PC. The networking still works between my two PCs. The PC that stopped working is running Win 98 and I can't find anything hardware wise wrong with it.

printing to a network printer in fedora core 2

Hi everyone, could someone please help. I have just installed Fedora Core 2 but have failed to intall a canon iR2800 network printer. The printer has a NIC with an IP, and is connected to the network, windows PCs can print to it.

Fedora Core 3 and XP Dual Boot Problems

HELP! Linux VPN has Died!!!

Hello all. i have two pc's setup for a VPN connection. i. e 2 sites both using local adsl connections. PC A = 10. 0. 0. 1/24 eth0 172. 16. 0. 1 tun0 PC B = 10. 0. 1. 1/24 eth0 172. 16. 0. 2 tun0 now , after executing shutdown -h now on the PC A.

Linux Firewall / PPPoE xDSL Connection

I am new to the Linux world and had a few questions regarding configuring a Linux box to act as a firewall, as well as, connecting to my local xDSL service. As mentioned I would like the Linux box to connect via PPPoE to my ISP (xDSL) and provide firewalling to the rest on my internal segment.

gigabit data transfer with GA311 mandrake 10.1 - 9.0

Hi im hoping someone can help me out. I have installed an additional GA311 network card in my mail server and backup mail server. The idea is to speed up the rsync that runs over night to sync /var/spool/imap on both.

Hi there, I've currently got a Netgear gigabit GA311 card installed on a windoze box. Over the weekend Im going to be converting this box over to Linux (Fedora 3). Does anyone know whether the card will work? If so, any advice or links which might help me get it set up would be greatly appreciated.

Network works but not internet!

Hi, I'm a noob in Linux. I've installed Fedora Core 3 on my computer (Laptop ECS g733, p4 2. 4, 512 ram, all components SIS). It works great! I still have some problem finding things but it's ok. The only problem is that I just can't connect on the internet.

IRQ#10 disabled after successful ndiswrapper wireless launch

Hi, I am new to Linux. I am running Suse 9. 2 Using GN-WPKG wireless card with an RT2500 chip in NdisWrapper against a Linksys 802. 11 b/g router, I got my internet connection configured. But about 40 to 50 minutes in, I get a message that says IRQ#10 is being disabled.

I use wireless for my home office, Linksys WUSB11 v3. 0 to be exact. I contacted Linksys regarding any drivers that they might have that would allow me to use the devices I already have with Core 2, they have none.

Hello I have a problem with my Wireless lan (BG2200 intel centrino), I have a dualboot on my laptop and if I first start linux I can see that the LED on my laptop is not working. If I first start Win2K then my LED is lighting up and then, I can quit and go to Linux and my Wlan is working (I can surf on the web).

Take Ubuntu for example, there is no 'in your face' pppoe (dsl) setup tool. Open a 'root' terminal window and type pppoeconf (without the quotation marks) and then hit the <enter> key. You will see a bunch of questions in a 'text' style interface.

How to change MTU of FC2?

im trying to use my windows xp as a gateway for my FC2 to connect to the internet. However, im using a PPPoE on the xp. Thus having the MTU problem i need to reduce MTU from 1500 to 1492. anyone knows how? The situation now is, i am able to access localhost of my windows system.
