ChimeraOS 2024-09-20 (a54699b) has been released with fixes for disk difficulties, mislabeled SATA devices, and reverting the increased wait time to prevent console output from overwriting the installation display.
ChimeraOS 2024-09-08 (99e7e08) is now available. The ChimeraOS install media has gone through a bunch of upgrades to make it even better.
Now, it supports controllers, has a fancy graphical boot with plymouth, hides the boot menu, and even disables the watchdog. It also gives you a heads up when you're installing to external drives and prevents you from installing to drives that are too small (under 55 GB). Plus, they've made the disk descriptions easier to understand and added a cool probe.sh script. They've also dropped support for legacy boot and included frzr 0.15.1 to make installer changes a breeze.
