Sergey Panteleev announced the release of PHP 8.2.21. PHP 8.2.21 has solved numerous problems, including warnings about incompatible pointer types, crashes when stack walking in the destructor of surrendered items during Generator->throw(), and an incompatible function pointer type for fclose.

Saki Takamachi announced the first alpha version of PHP 8.4.0 for testing. PHP 8.4.0 Alpha 1 includes various enhancements to BCMath, Core, Curl, Date, DOM, FPM, FTP, GD, Gettext, Hash, IMAP, Intl, and IMAP. BCMath has been enhanced with the addition of bcfloor, bcceil, and bcround, while Core now includes zend_call_stack_get support for NetBSD, DragonFlyBSD, Solaris, and Haiku.
The CURLOPT_BINARYTRANSFER constant has been deprecated, and the required libcurl version has been updated to 7.61.0. The stable version of Apache HTTP Server 2.4.60 is now available following four release candidates. Apache HTTP Server 2.4.60 has been upgraded to address a number of security vulnerabilities. These include a potential SSRF in mod_rewrite, a crash resulting in denial of service in mod_proxy caused by a malicious request, a vulnerability in the core of Apache HTTP Server 2.4.59 and earlier, a vulnerability in mod_rewrite when the first segment of substitution matches the filesystem path, a weakness with encoded question marks in backreferences, and a proxy encoding issue.
