Solarspeed.net has released another unofficial Bind update for the Sun Cobalt RaQ 3/4 server appliances.

A few days ago we reported in our news that ISS X-Force had discovered several serious vulnerabilities in the Berkeley Internet Name Domain Server (BIND).
As soon as patches were available we released PKG file for the RaQ3 and RaQ4 which contained a fixed Bind-8.3.3. That package was called RaQ3/4-Bind-8.3.3-2.pkg

By now Bind-8.3.4 is available and contains the same fixes. So we rolled up a PKG file for the RaQ3 and RaQ4 which upgrades Bind to Bind-8.3.4 and the package is now available for free in our download section.

If you already have RaQ3/4-Bind-8.3.3-2.pkg, then you don't need to upgrade as you are already protected. But you can install it if you wish.
