Updated firefox-esr packages has been released for Debian GNU/Linux 8 LTS (Jessie) to address multiple security issues, including execution of arbitrary code, information disclosure, cross-site scripting, and denial of service.

Multiple security issues have been found in the Mozilla Firefox web browser, which could potentially result in the execution of arbitrary code, information disclosure, cross-site scripting or denial of service.
Debian follows the extended support releases (ESR) of Firefox. Support for the 60.x series has ended, so starting with this update we're now following the 68.x releases.

For Debian 8 "Jessie", these problems have been fixed in version 68.2.0esr-1~deb8u1.
